The Benefits of Spin Classes

Spinning engages most of the muscles in your body, from your legs to your core. Some spin classes also incorporate the use of hand weights or handlebar push-ups, to get the upper body working.

Spin is also a great, low-impact cardiovascular workout, which improves blood flow, stamina and mood. Many forms of cardiovascular workouts, for example, running and circuits, are high impact, which is not ideal for those with sensitive joints. In spin classes, however, your joints are protected from the impact of pounding the pavements running.
