Bodywork Massage

Kat Basquill

Bodywork Massage

IMG_1191 (2).JPG

Kat believes strongly in the healing power of a loving touch. After teaching and practicing yoga for several years, Kat became curious about the deeper levels of healing within the body, and the strong link between body and mind.

Kat trained with the renowned Alchemy of Touch, whose intuitive methods hold a mix of deep tissue strokes, myofascial release, Thai yoga massage, joint mobilisation, and their own unique stroke; the soothing ‘fluid touch’, which mimics the flow of energy in the body.

In each bodywork session Kat's focus is to soothe and rebalance without jarring the nervous system.

Each session is a full body massage, with extra focus on areas you request, or that Kat feels need more attention - whether physically tight or energetically stuck.

Kat is available on Saturdays from 1.30pm - 6.30pm

The Soundshift

Sound Therapy

The soundshift.jpg

Both Almira & George are certified by The Sound Energy Practitioners Association (SEMPA) to Level 2 in Sound Therapy & Vibroacoustic Massage and have continued studies in Nada & Bhakti Yoga. Almira is also certified as Meditation Teacher (CoE) & Holistic Life Coach (SNHS).

George, a song writer and producer, started his career in the 90’s in an RnB group. His career has seen him writing and producing hit singles, opening live for Boys II Men, writing for Salt-N-Pepa and winning a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for songwriting with Liberty X.

He is also the Founder & CEO of an award-winning edtech business Studytracks. Everything he has done has been connected with music or sound in some way. His spiritual journey was initiated as a child, being gifted the Bhagavad Gita by his parents. George has always been interested in metaphysics and the mind-body connection. Over the years he has delved into the work of Dawson Church, Joe Dipensza and others, studied Kabbalah and gone through the infamous fire-walk of Tony Robbins.

Almira discovered the transformative power of mantra and spiritual music 12 years ago at a time of deep spiritual growth, after quitting her job, selling her house and backpacking around Asia for a year. Music has always been a thread in her life - the daughter of a jazz musician, lover of her grandfather’s classical music as a small child and spending a little too much of her youth in underground nightclubs. The death of her Nan a few years ago and an unexplainable event at the time of death really propelled Almira into energy work and the interconnectedness of everything. She currently juggles her passion for sound therapy and wellbeing, family life and managing a Family-Office. Almira is also a co-creator of The Ladyshift Collective who run events and retreats for women

The Soundshift are available on Fridays from 9am to 2pm.

Maria Kaisharis

Holistic Massage Therapy

Maria K.jpg

Maria's journey started 15 years ago when she trained professionally as a performing artist. The mental and physical toll on her body led Maria to try and find some alleviation and healing.

She remembers having her very first massage treatment. She felt incredible, rejuvenated and energised. Her muscle tensions were relieved and her spirit lifted.

From practicing on family and friends and then working as an assistant for an Osteopath, Maria realised she wanted to make people feel the way she did after her first massage experience, revitalised.

She gained a globally recognised Level 3 ITEC qualification in Holistic Massage Therapy. Studying anatomy and physiology of the body and practicing holistic techniques gave her the confidence to treat people professionally.

At The Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden, Maria further developed her massage techniques and added her own personal touch to enhance her clients’ experience.

A journey of rejuvenation and healing is Maria's promise to you.

”For as long as I can remember I have had a deep passion to heal.”
