Deep Tissue Massage
If you’re looking for a professional and relaxing deep tissue massage, look no further than Breeze Yoga.
Deep tissue massage therapy aims to realign deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This includes chronically tense areas such as stiff necks, tightness in the lower back and sore shoulders.
Deep tissue massages are comparable to Swedish massage or Therapeutic massages, however, the strokes tend to be slower and deeper so areas of pain and discomfort can be targeted.
Our Deep Tissue Massages
Our deep tissue massages are characterised by being specific to each client. Before your deep tissue massage commences our qualified therapists will ask you about any specific problem areas. Therefore, the therapy can be dedicated to just one area or your entire body.
Once you are ready, you will be asked to lie on your back or stomach under a sheet. The level of your undressing depends on what body parts are being targeted. For example, for a full-body deep tissue massage, you will need to strip down to your underwear.
Our therapists will begin slowly by warming up your muscles with a lighter touch. When your muscles are warmed up they will start delving into the key problem areas that may be causing your discomfort.
It is normal to feel a small amount of pain during our deep tissue massage therapies because our therapists go deep into your muscles. However, by the same token, you will experience a sensation of looseness and a sense of relaxation after the treatment is finished.
We take pride in providing a range of benefits from our deep tissue massage treatments. This includes reducing back pain, lowering blood pressure, improving the rate of recovery after injury as well as helping to alleviate lower back pain in pregnant women.
If you are interested in booking a deep tissue massage or you would like further information about the treatment, please do not hesitate to call us on 020 8658 6808 or send an email to info@breezeyoga.co.uk.
