Yogi Ashokananda

Yogi Ashokananda is an expert and pioneer as a practising master of yoga and meditation and a speaker on humanity and spiritual philosophy. Raised in India, he has been practising yoga since early childhood when his Grandfather was his first teacher.

He is also a Reiki Master. Over many years Yogi Ashokananda has been fortunate to develop his teaching, experience and education of yoga under some of the great, remote, Indian masters and siddhas. He has taught the teachings of the Bihar School of Yoga, the Sivananda Ashram, hatha yoga and meditation at the Shri Ved Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh and the Yogamaya Ashram in Vrindavan. Now he teaches a number of his own profound disciplines and insights which have their roots in ancient, sacred Indian tradition.

Boroka grew up in Transylvania, surrounded by forests and wildlife, where every human is directly connected to nature. From an early age, she developed her passion for outdoor activities, dynamic and healthy lifestyle.

Urged by the desire to help others, she graduated in Physiotherapy and shortly after she moved to UK, where she met her Yoga Master. Her yoga practice became more fulfilling, then anything she had done before.  In order to deepen her understanding of yoga, Boroka has undertaken over 500h of training in UK and India with Yogi Ashokananda.

Every student has their own reason to practice, and Boroka believes that the big improvements happen by taking small steps. She wishes to support these small steps and faciliate her students to find the power within, as well as self love and care for others. She believes there is a hidden, great potential in every being and her mission is to help her students to uncover it through the yoga practice.

Restorative Yoga and Breathwork

Choi Kok

Choi has practiced yoga for over 30 years and is a British Wheel of Yoga Accredited Teacher. A dedicated meditator, she has practised Vipassana/Insight meditation since 1998. She believes we can resist our overstimulated environment through conscious movement, active rest and seeing the world through the lense of our loving awareness.

Choi teaches an enriching practice encouraging ‘less is more’ approach,  cultivating compassion, empathy and loving kindness. She embraces a certain level of autonomy for you to find the varying physical pathways of sensation and for everyone to simply ‘pause for a moment’.

Andrew Lees

Andrew stumbled across yoga by chance. While backpacking around the world he booked accommodation in what he later discovered was a yoga retreat – and never looked back.

He has always been a long-distance runner and finds many similarities between yoga and running: the meditative breathing, the internal focus and – in his case at least – the overcoming of challenges you set for yourself rather than competing with someone else. Movement and breath.


Andrew is a Chartered Accountant which he thinks goes some way to explaining his love for precise alignment. “Details matter…”

In each class he aims to achieve two things: a challenged body and a quiet, happy mind. He likes a practice where, when stepping off your mat, your body tells you it’s worked hard, but your mind has been floating on a cloud.

Yin Yoga 

John Sutton


John was introduced to yoga by his Danish wife Pia in February 2002. “ day she dragged me into a class at our local health club and I’ve been lost to it ever since...”


John’s experience has encompassed a wide variety of styles including Iyengar, Sivanada and general Hatha classes.  He is a member of the Yoga Alliance and is Rocket and Ashtanga Vinyasa trained (300 hours) through The Yoga People/It’s Yoga (SF). Aside from the deep contentment that a good regular practice brings, John loves the community aspect of yoga and he enjoys the shared experience of a room full of people all moving with intention, awareness and rhythm.


John’s classes are sequenced around forward bends, twists, hip openers, backbends and working on core strength to move towards more challenging postures.

Pregnancy Yoga | Hatha Yoga

Claire Chaitanya

Claire Alexandra (also known by her spiritual name, Chaitanya having taken initiation into Karma Sannyasa through the Guru, Swami Satsangi from the Satyananda yoga tradition) has been practicing yoga since a young child born into the tradition.


She has knowledge on many practices of meditation and yoga such as Iyengar yoga, hatha yoga, ashtanga, vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga. Claire focuses on all aspects of yoga that suits the intention of the students as a group, complementing their workout and lifestyle goals. 

She also has diplomas in anatomy and physiology.
