Introduction to Yoga Flow for Beginners with Minica Beason
Sunday 25th February 3-5pm in the traditional studio
Join Minica for this two hour workshop perfect for new students wanting transition into flow based classes. You will learn how postures are linked together to achieve a smooth, nurturing and effective practice. You will gain insight into the benefits of yogic breathing, synchronising the breath with movement, making your practice a moving meditation. Flow classes help to break down any stagnant energy held in the body, whilst encouraging the mind to move back into focus and balance. The practice builds internal heat which encourages the release of toxins, relieves the physical body of tightness and ailments and promotes flexibility, stamina, strength, bringing about a sense of empowerment, balance and calm.
This is suitable for newcomers to yoga, those wishing to transition from static posture based classes, and those wishing to re-visit the basics to refine their existing practice.
Although this workshop is in the traditional studio it will give you the perfect basis to take into a Hot Yoga Flow 1 class or a Hot Vinyasa Flow, Minica will give a guide to the most suitable Hot Flow classes to try at the end of the workshop.
