GUEST CLASS 'Sweet Flow' with Matt Julian
Thursday 24th August 8-9.30pm in the traditional studio
Join Matt for a sweet and energetic flow, designed to drop you into your body, connect with the breath, and light the inner fire!
Explore the feeling of being strong and grounded through Warrior variations, open and fluid through flows and twists, become light and free by releasing our Earthy bonds to fly!
By keeping the flow simple and fun, the awareness can drop out of the thinking mind, and tap into the innate wisdom of the body. The focus can then be about connecting to our source, letting go of all that usually consumes our time and energy, and trusting where the breath and the journey takes you.
Suitable for all levels, this sweet practice will have you flowing, breathing, smiling, and finding joy in simply being.

Matt’s yoga journey began when an awakening of sorts convinced him to box up his Australian life and set off with his backpack, with no real idea of where he would end up, or what he was searching for. What he eventually found (or what found him) was a vibrant yoga scene in London and Canada, where he trained with his main teachers Claire Missingham, Suzanne Slocum-Gori, Ryan Leier, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Nico Luce, Noah Maze, and Dr Genieve Burley.
Matt now shares his yoga teaching base between London and Adelaide, and teaches retreats and workshops as he travels. His schedule can be found at www.matt.yoga.
Matt also has a background in health and fitness, with a degree in Human Movement, he is a qualified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. He was a personal trainer for many years, including being the Head of Fitness for premier health clubs across London, Sydney and Adelaide. All this experience contribute to and influence his teaching style today.
