Did you know that there are yoga postures which are particularly beneficial in easing the symptoms associated with the menopause, such as hot flushes, sleepless nights, weight gain and lack of concentration?

Join this 4 week course with Katy, who will guide you through specific practices to alleviate symptoms, whilst instilling a sense of equilibrium and well being, including postures and relaxation techniques to aid you on your journey through this important time of life.  All are welcome, no experience of yoga practice is necessary.  

Research carried out in 2014 has found yoga may be an alternative to hormone replacement treatment.  Professor Nancy Woods and colleagues at the University of Washington, Seattle, examined a range of non-drug studies, including herbal medicine, Chinese medicine, yoga, exercise and relaxation.  The researchers found that relaxation therapies and yoga showed the most promise.

Breeze Kids Classes ages 5-11 years

Would you love your child to benefit from enhanced concentration, listening skills, attention span, physical wellbeing, confidence and self esteem?

Our classes give children the chance to become more healthy and learn valuable life skills to enhance their physical and emotional well-being – setting them up for a healthy, balanced and happy life!  The classes are fun, imaginative and unique.  The sessions help children to develop body awareness and flexibility, and also to relax the muscles.  The wide range of physical and relaxation exercises decrease physical tension, release endorphins and calm the nervous system.  Childrens’ energy levels, overall temperament and circulation are enhanced, the immune system is boosted and sleep is improved.

Kids Classes

  • Wednesdays 4-4.45pm Breeze Kids ages 5-7
  • Wednesdays 4.45-5.30pm Breeze Kids ages 8-11

Class Prices
Classes are booked and paid on a half termly basis:

2018 dates:

  • Spring 1: 10th January - 7th February, 5 week course
    £35 for early bird places, £45 for places booked after 3rd January
  • Spring 2: 28th February - 28th March, 5 week course
    £35 for early bird places, £45 for places booked after 21st February

Term classes are non transferable. Please note that Kids and Teens classes do not take place during school half terms and holidays (dates in line with Bromley schools).

Breeze Teens Classes ages 12-16yrs

Yoga for teens is a wonderful way to develop self-esteem, concentration, and coordination as well as an effective means of reducing stress and hormonal changes whilst enhancing discipline and healthy living as essential and valuable life skills. Yoga also helps prevent sports injuries and create concentration, clarity, and focus for studies. Other physical and mental benefits of Teen Yoga include enhanced ability to relax, improved posture, stability and balance and stress management. Most importantly for teens, it promotes a strengthened internal perspective, helping self-image to develop free of media and other cultural images.

The classes are popular and enjoyable, for both boys and girls, with great music choices and a teacher that really “gets on the level” with her teen Yogis!

Have you or a friend heard plenty of wonderful things about Yoga, yet to date not quite made it into a class? If so, would you feel a little more confident about venturing in if you knew that everyone in the class were a total beginner like you?

Participating in our short beginners’ course will give you the knowledge you need to get a great head start on your yoga journey. You will learn the basics, the terminology, the adaptations you may require, and which, of the many different styles of yoga we offer, are most suitable to help you achieve your personal goals.

These classes will set you up for a great and rewarding practice and are open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels.

Please note that this course is not held in our heated studio, but will complement your practice should you choose to venture into hot classes after the course.
