Salema is certified as an Advanced/Senior yoga teacher at 800 hours with the Yoga Alliance.  With a passion for anatomy and movement and coming from a strong alignment background of Karuna & Iyengar yoga, where she trained under the watchful eyes of Gary Carter (anatomical studies and bodywork practices based on the Scaravelli tradition -Natural Bodies) . Her interest led her toThailandwhere she studied Thai yoga massage and later to study and certify with Doug Keller in Yoga Therapy at the Special Yoga Centre inLondon. She is also certified in Jivamukti Yoga which is well known and respected for the hands on adjustments and is on the Teacher Training Faculty for Power Yoga London .

Align and Refine and infuse your Yoga practice with Salema

Teaching yoga one-to-one is a totally different experience of yoga for both teacher and student. Salema is passionate about the depth of experience that can be achieved in this setting. Bringing essential knowledge for achieving a safe, comfortable and healing practice. Salema advocates that the level of attention received in a one-to-one can have a deep and lasting transformation on students.

Sessions will be tailored to your specific requirements and are available as Jivamukti for the more dynamic and yoga therapy if you are carrying specific injuries and looking to build strength and stability with a more restorative, calming practice. Yoga therapy uses props and focuses on breathing practices, mantra (affirmations) as well as restorative poses progressing with a sense of ease. In both sessions offered we will fine tune the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies, making minor subtle adjustments along the way giving you the awareness, confidence and freedom to liberate your practice.

Times:  Sessions can be held in the traditional or hot studio; Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings or Wednesday afternoons, subject to availability.

Cost :

75 minute session; traditional studio £75, hot studio £80

90 minute session; traditional studio £85, hot studio £90
