Christina
Christina believes yoga can be adapted to suit the individual needs of everyone and has therefore trained extensively in many areas of yoga. Christina has a friendly and informal approach to teaching yoga and enjoys learning and growing with her students.
Christina was first drawn to yoga as a form of exercise, she had rarely enjoyed exercise but had thought yoga would suit her as she had always been naturally flexible. After joining a local class she soon learnt that yoga had so much more to offer than exercise and flexibility. Yoga made her feel more grounded and centred and she soon noticed that the stresses of everyday life became less trivial and more manageable.
Christina wanted to share the benefits she had gained from her yoga practise and began training in 2004. By the time she had finished her training and became dedicated to yoga and furthering her training. Overwhelmed by the difference yoga had made to her overall sense of well being Christina became interested in how yoga could be used as a therapy and focused on how it could benefit children with special needs and began specialising in this area. She now enjoys teaching yoga from babies to the elderly as she believes everyone can practise yoga and gain from its benefits.
