Sherrie
Sherrie’s background as a child included acrobatics gymnastics and dance up until late teens. After leaving school she spent 7 years travelling overseas and then returned home to start a family. Sherrie has two sons who are now aged 18 and 21. When her sons started school she decided she wanted a career in the things she loved doing most so she started training with the YMCA.
Sherrie has now worked as a fitness trainer for the past fifteen years including exercise to music, dance, circuits, weights and personal training. Ten years ago Sherrie started teaching fitness pilates and fitness yoga which was the start of my yoga path. Sherrie then trained in Thai yoga and Thai yoga massage. To further her knowledge she then trained in Sun Power yoga which incorporates Iyengar, Sivananda and Ashtanga styles of yoga. She has worked with all ages and abilities enabling her to further my knowledge in more specific areas. To complement these she has also trained in Reiki to master level and is currently studying Nutrition.
