Originally a professional dancer, movement and fitness have been entwined in Julia’s life since an early age; she has practiced Yoga for over 20 years. Yoga has been an integral part of her work as a personal trainer (of which she has 18 years of experience). As yoga teacher, Julia is passionate and endeavours to offer her students increased strength, stamina, flexibility, muscle tone and mobility, whether in a class environment or on a one to one basis. Julia’s perspective is that yoga provides a balance of mind, body and spirit and allows the perfect bridge to her work as a practicing hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Hence, stress reduction, relaxation and personal development through positive suggestions are a very important element of her teaching. Julia’s style of teaching focuses particularly on strength in postures, due to her personal interest in posture correction and core strength.
