“I’ve been going to Pilates classes for some time.  I totally enjoy the classes and feel that I am really benefitting from them.  I love the group energy of the class and the fact that the teacher always checks and adjusts throughout, giving really clear instruction and motivation.  I always feel that I have really accomplished something after class. However, I felt that I wasn’t getting the full benefit from a couple of the postures, as I was a little fearful of certain movements, having had a whiplash injury some years ago that occasionally gives me trouble.  I attended one private session with Domini, during which she taught me how to adapt certain exercises to suit my body, whilst also giving me additional exercises to carry out at home to strengthen my spine even further.  The session was invaluable, not only did I enjoy the individual attention, I learned a whole lot about my body and how to get the best out of it at the same time!
