There are many benefits to growing older, including having more time to enjoy leisure activities, more time with our families and friends, and more time for relaxation and to focus on ourselves. However, as our bodies age, we tend to become more susceptible to common ailments, poor posture and general aches and pains. It is never too late to start enjoying classes with us, and regular practice is an excellent way to prolong great health, flexibility and strength, whilst boosting the immune system and enhancing your ability to relax and feel in better all round health of mind and body. Our senior classes are regularly attended by both men and women, many of whom have started with us with little or no experience of yoga/pilates, yet have gone on to realise the enjoyable and beneficial effects of regular practice.
Suitable for all seniors: A gentle yet highly effective class for seniors, to stretch and strengthen the body whilst improving flexibilty. Breathing techniques are taught to boost overall wellbeing and build life-force energy (prana).
